I attended a conference at the hotel and found the facilities quite good, with particularly exceptional service from staff like Kelly. However, my experience was marred by a lack of attention at check-in and during my breakfast service, which was served in a rather unappealing way. Overall, it seems they provide a nice atmosphere for meetings but could improve their front desk and dining experiences.

I had a mixed experience at the Village Hotel. While I appreciated the spacious room and friendly atmosphere during the celebration, the dining service was quite slow, and the quality of the food didn't meet my expectations. The location is great for gatherings, but enhancements in management and staff training are certainly needed to ensure a smoother experience overall.

Rooms

The room was spacious, but I noticed it could have been cleaner, as there was some dust and maintenance issues.

I had a truly enjoyable stay at this hotel. The facilities, especially the bar and restaurant, are fantastic, creating a welcoming atmosphere where it's easy to unwind. The staff, particularly Nick and Sarah, went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. However, I didn't get a chance to use the gym or pool during my short stay, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, I found great value for my visit, and I would absolutely recommend it to others.

Rooms
8.0
The rooms were clean and tidy, offering a decent level of comfort. Even though mine overlooked the car park, not much noise came through.
Service

The location is quite convenient, perfect for accessing the bar and restaurant quickly, but might get busy during peak hours.
Dining

The dining experience at the newly revamped bar and restaurant was excellent, with an array of food and drink options available.
Facilities

Although I didn't use them, the gym and pool facilities looked impressive and well-maintained, which adds great value to the stay.

5.8/10

This hotel tries to exude a trendy vibe but has quite a few areas that need attention. While the room was modern and spacious, the check-in process and the cleanliness of common areas left a lot to be desired. The parking situation could also be improved, making it inconvenient for hotel guests. Overall, I wouldn't rush back despite the decent quality of the room.

Rooms
7.0
The room was modern, spacious, and generally what we wanted for an overnight stay, but the lack of functioning lighting made it uncomfortably dark.
Service
5.0
The check-in process was less personal, relying on tech rather than face-to-face interaction, which felt quite robotic. The service experience could definitely be warmer.
Location
6.0
While the location was convenient for gym-goers, it made it quite a trek for hotel guests coming from the parking lot, which was rather full.
Dining
5.0
Dining experiences were mixed; while the breakfast options might be decent, the overall experience of dining at the bar was underwhelming.
Facilities
5.0
Common areas like the corridors were tired, and the vending machine was not user-friendly. Improvements in amenities would greatly enhance the guest experience.

I had a really mixed experience at Maidstone Village. On the positive side, the staff was incredibly accommodating and went out of their way to ensure we had a nice stay. However, the incident with the altercation during our stay really impacted our experience and our night was anything but restful. The breakfast quality also left something to be desired, which was disappointing compared to my previous experiences with Village hotels.

Rooms
6.0
The room was comfortable, but we had issues with noise from an altercation outside, which disrupted our sleep. It felt smaller compared to other rooms.
Service
9.0
The staff were exceptional and really seemed to care about our comfort, even though I had to raise some issues.
Location
7.0
The hotel is conveniently located, but the noise from the surrounding area made it hard to enjoy.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast options were lacking in quality and warmth, which was disappointing.
Facilities
6.0
The amenities were decent, but nothing stood out during my stay.
